Who is PetSmart Charities?
PetSmart Charities is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to saving the lives of homeless pets. Since 1994, PetSmart Charities has provided more than $52 million to over 3,400 animal welfare organizations throughout North America and has saved the lives of more than three million homeless pets through our PetSmart Charities Adoption Centers located in every PetSmart store.

Where does the money come from?
PetSmart Charities raises the majority of its funds through the spring and fall Just A Buck, Change Their Luck? campaigns. During this campaign, customers can donate when they make a purchase at any PetSmart store or online at PetSmart.com.

Why Donate?
Every day, more than 10,000 healthy pets lose their lives simply because they do not have a place to call home. Your support of the Just A Buck, Change Their Luck? campaign will help save the lives of homeless pets and help prevent pet overpopulation. All funds raised for this campaign will be provided to animal welfare agencies within the communities where the funds were raised. PetSmart Charities partners with more than 3,400 animal welfare agencies across the U.S. and Canada to provide support and funding of their life-saving programs. Funds raised by the Just A Buck, Change Their Luck? campaign provide much-needed funding to local animal welfare organizations in your community.
